Key Information
  • All players must create a Carde.io account on the Riftbound OP website.
  • Players must connect their Riot account to their Carde.io account to participate in Riftbound events.
  • For a successful connection, your Riot account must have a Game Name and a Tagline. You can access both via your account settings on account.riotgames.com.
  • English worldwide launch is Monday, October 27th and local languages will roll out Thursday, October 30th.
How to Create a Cardeio Account and Link Your Riot Account
  1. Go to the Riftbound OP website and click “Login” in the top-right corner.
    • If you already have a Carde.io account, simply log in.
    • If not, click “Sign Up” and complete registration. You’ll need to verify your account via the email sent to you.
  2. After verifying, log in again and select “Sign In With or Create a Riot Account.”
    • If you already have a Riot account, log in using your Riot credentials.
    • If you don’t, create a new Riot account through the prompt.
  3. Once logged in, you’ll be asked to authorize the connection between your Riot and Carde.io accounts. Click “Authorize”.
    • IMPORTANT NOTE: For a successful connection, your Riot account must have a Game Name and a Tagline. You can access both via your account settings on account.riotgames.com.
  4. When you return to the Carde.io site, you will be asked some personal information. Once you submit, the process is complete!
